I started thinking about indulging my drawing hobby after repeated encouragement and nugding from my wife. The first inspiration came from our three cats and my wife's interest in Egyptian history. Egyptians held cats highly, so I came up with a pyramid formation for our 3 cats. Perfect fit. Now I had to get the Egyptian feel correct, so I started with abstract shapes and came up with this design. The first one to see light of day. Printed a few shirts for us and to giveaway.
